HOW TO localize (change language) your Easy Flash template?
This tutorial is created, to make easier for you to adapt your Easy flash template to your region's language.
So we split fonts into groups, one is System fonts, which are built in operational system and second one is Non system fonts, which people are installing themselves manually. So, for example we can list standard fonts which are most used by us;
For better understanding let's split fonts into 2 groups. First group is:
- Arial
- Tahoma
- Verdana
- Times New Roman
- Trebuchet MS
You don't need to change the titles of the text fields written by these fonts. The other fields, like name of the site or slogans and headings, items of the menu aren't written by the standard fonts, so it is necessary to replace nonstandard fonts like this:
You have to choose fonts, that will suit your template's design in your opinion. After that you need to make sure that chosen font supports you language and install the font in your system, if its not installed yet.
After all this you need to open Adobe Flash software and open library, where you will have to find Movie Clip with a text field, that you with to change. Double click on it.
Please select the text field
and pull down menu chose your font
and press the button "Embed..."
In an opened window, you need to select language group and symbols, that you with to embed. To select multiple symbols, you need to hold Ctrl ctrl key during the clicking of mouse
Now, everything's ready and you have successfully localized your flash template. Enjoy!
